The longest journey

For quite some time now we have been playing an adventure in Houndsend with a character called Uma. I have not posted much of it before, mostly because I thought it contained lots of “spoilers”. But now I read it through and I think that there is a lot in this adventure that can explain some things about the universe itself and if you think the story and adventure is interesting in itself then all the better.

You can read it here

Enjoy

  1. I really enjoy reading these story logs, it gives a practical sense/view to the rules (not to mention, they’re plain fun to read!).

Not to sound like a stalker…but what happened to Nof??

    • That is nice to hear!

It is what happens when you have to make money…time disappears

      • Time is like mana; gone when you need it the most!

Hmm…that counts for money as well, but since time is money, money is also mana.

      • What a great idea! I will implement that in the combat by three dice system we talked about. If you want to cast spell you need to pay 1gp/SpellLevel. At the same time money will have its normal function…to buy things. So using magic will decrease the total available money, as the gp will be used up and dissolved in the casting process.

And by the way, I have written down some stuff for that system and it is almost done. Soon we have to start a new google doc to test it. I have a scenario/story ready as well.

And on the same note, even if time is consumed in the process of making money, in real life that is, the ideas dont really stop.
